I use objects and materials that are abundant but not ever considered the main event. Things are common, consistent and repetitive. They inherently possess traces of time and habit through accumulation. They showcase design, ingenuity, our ability to massproduce and widely distribute. These items are omnipresence and actively disposed of or overlooked entirely.
I consider my work a catalogue of the formal properties and subtle information inherent in the continuous flow of flotsom and jetsom, of dregs we create as individuals and collectively.
