Bereits zum dritten Mal erproben das Institut Kunst der HGK Basel und Atelier Mondial eine experimentelle Zusammenarbeit: Je zwei internationale Kunstschaffende aus Montréal und New York werden mit zwei Master-Studierenden der Region in einer Art kreativem "Match Making" zusammen gebracht. Sie erhalten den Ausstellungsraum Salon Mondial, ein Budget und technische Unterstützung unter der einzigen Bedingung, ihre künstlerische Begegnung am Ende einem öffentlichen Publikum zugänglich machen zu müssen.

For the third time the Fine Arts Department of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design as well as Atelier Mondial are partnering for an experimental collaboration: Two International artists from Montréal and New York meet two local Master students in what can be called a “creative match making”. They are provided an exhibition space (Salon Mondial), a budge and technical support under the only condition that in the end, they have to show their artistic encounter to a public audience.
